The Dearg Mac Tire series

Welcome, to the world of Robin "Puck" Goodfellow.

In an alternate present day where creatures of myth and legend walk openly amongst mankind, Robin Goodfellow walks the path of a solitary drunk. But this was not always so. Once upon a time, back when the Mythic people first returned to Earth, he was a warrior, a prince and a sorcerer; some even called him hero while others called him villain.

But now, in these days of uneasy peace, where man and Mythic still view one another with hate and suspicion he simply tries to live with himself and the memories of the horrors of the War of the Wild Hunt.

Calling York his home, Puck will have to fight as hard as he can to stay alive in the face of friends and foes from his past who seek to exploit him for their own benefits. But the greatest enemy seeking his downfall comes not from without but within as with each fresh encounter comes the sting of a past he can never escape and the call to fight and die, the call of The Red Wolf, the call of Deag Mac Tir.

After a rough nights drinking, Puck wakes on the floor of his local pub to find that he lost a precious gift in a questionable game of Mahjong.

The threat of being forever barred from his favoured watering hole spurs the Red Wolf into hunting down those who swindled him. His investigation leads him to a skeletal gangster who offers him the answers he seeks - but at a price.

Puck hates getting his hands dirty but when a mysterious package is sent to Sirenia from a long lost love then Puck has to step in and take matters into his own hands to help his friend. However, this journey might not be quite as easy as it first seems. For the man he is out to find is none other than Garrett, one of the legendary Death Riders of the Wild Hun. Puck's journey to reunite lost lovers will take him to the one place on earth no sane person ever goes, out the furthest end of the American Wasteland.

Death is a shadow that silently haunts the lives of all but most of us don't go out in search of the reaper. Too bad that no one saw fit to inform Robin Goodfellow.

One nights drinking leads to a rash decision but, as always, Puck has a silent angel watching over him and a brush with Death leads him into the palms of an unscrupulous millionaire who wants the Red Wolf to arrange the most unique deal of all, a deal with Death himself.
